Many of the people we have offered shelter to have been in need of space not only for practical reasons, but also to recover and relax. Having a place to rest is important for building resilence, especially in the age of the polycrisis when the work of a campaigner seems endless and exhausting.
We now have hosts offering their homes (and gardens) for guests to take a time out - some of these hosts live in the countryside or near a beach, the accomodation could be a cabin or a tent as well as a spare bedroom. Hosts can set their own boundaries on the use of the space, the availability of food, and the length of a time a person/s can stay.
We have wonderful spaces available, including a communal living site in the south of the country, where accomodation is across various eco-buildings (photo below).
